The SM12V continues the success story of Yamaha's Club Series line, which as the label implies is now on its 5th iteration.

This works in conjunction with its bulky enclosure for improved high power handling and provides enhanced bass frequencies and projection.

Having mentioned all that, its best feature is still its longevity and reliability, as attested to by the many positive reviews that it continues to receive.

Hello,

Hello,
I have used my Yamaha SM12V speakers for 8 years now, but recently the tweeter on one side is no longer emitting sound.
I am wondering if it is usually 1)the electronics 2)the SS Audio Diaphragm for JAY-2061 tweeter (easily replaced), or 3) the entire tweeter ? What would be the typical cause?? Thanks!!
