Overview
Blackstar is well known for versatile high-gain amps for electric guitars, but they have expanded into the acoustic realm, and successfully so thanks to the Acoustic:Core 30.
For a 30-Watt combo amp, this one is packed with a lot of features.
And one appreciated aspect is the tilt feature, which lets you better direct the amp to your ear, much like a wedge monitor. It can also be pole mounted if you prefer it that way.
Another nifty feature is its TRRS port that makes it compatible for live streaming with apps such as GarageBand and Instagram live, a major need in this era where many performances are done at home.
It also comes with a pair of 5″ speakers for stereo sound. To make good use of its stereo speakers, it also comes with built-in chorus.
The controls and jacks are top mounted, and there you’ll see it’s 2-channel design with inputs for guitar and mic, along with controls which include dedicated gain, EQ and reverb controls.
