Gearank Recommendation
Until December 2017 we were recommending this as an entry level nylon string guitar, however its ratings have slipped and we now recommend the Yamaha C40 as a more highly rated alternative.
Overview
Lucero is a Guitar Center brand (owned by GTRC Services, Inc.) and with the exception of Amazon, it’s primarily available through retailers that are part of the Guitar Center group including Musicians Friend, Music123 and Woodwind and Brasswind.
The Lucero LC100 is positioned as a student / beginner instrument with a slightly smaller scale length and nut width than standard classical models but still within the size range that can be considered a Classical Guitar.
When processing user feedback to calculate its Gearank rating we found recommendations on forums from guitar teachers who say it’s good for students.

I have the LC100 Lucero Guitar. I have no problems with tuning pegs, strings or the guitar. I’ve had a few full size guitars in the past, but it’s hard to reach over to the strings. The 3/4 size is perfect for me, and I love the nylon strings, and color of the guitar. It plays pretty good too.
