The Quilter Labs Mach 2 Combo 12HD takes the portability concept of the Mach 2 Combo 12 a step further with a slightly smaller and lighter profile.
It houses the same 200W solid state amplifier with 2-channels, but features a different speaker, a 12″ Celestion BN12-300S, rated at 300W.
This means that the speaker can handle what the amp can throw at it without any break up issues that may color the tone.
Everything else about the 12HD follows after the Mach 2 formula, from its 6 analog amp voicings, down to its built-in reverb and tremolo effect.
The main difference though is that this is their lightest 12″ combo amp, and it is able to maintain clarity even when driven hard.
Gearank Recommendation
The Quilter Labs Mach 2 Combo 12HD gives you premium tone in a portable combo amp configuration, well worth checking out.
We previously had this amp on our recommended list for Solid State Guitar Amps, however there are now more highly rated options available in the $500 to $1500 price range.
