The Seymour Duncan SH-8n appeared on our recommended list for Budget Guitar Pickups Under $100 in 3 consecutive editions from December 2019 until October 2022 when it was removed due to a price increase that made it ineligible for the list.
Overview
With its ultra-high output and huge sound, the SH-8n Invader is the neck version of the SH-8b.
This humbucker features three large ceramic magnets and overwound coils that allow for wider frequency handling and more output designed for the neck position.
The EQ chart for this pickup shows that it emphasizes the mids a bit more than most high output passive humbuckers.
