Gearank Recommendation
The UniTune Clip appeared on our recommended list for Clip On Tuners from November 2019 until November 2020.
Overview
The UniTune is a streamlined version of TC Electronic’s popular Polytune clip, carrying over the same overall look and LED matrix display.
It drops the multi-note polyphonic tuning feature and maintains the more basic chromatic tuner function.
Still, it does have a strobe tuning function for more precise tuning, with an accuracy of ±0.02 cent.
Other cool features of this tuner include an internal memory for storing settings, the ability to use a reference pitch, and it has an adaptive screen that switches the orientation automatically for left and right handed players.
If you’re looking for a fast and efficient clip-on tuner with good display and allows for strobe tuning accuracy, then check out the TC Electronic UniTune clip.

What is going on with these two accuracy specs- .05cents versus .02 cents? do we have to fumble with a switch to go back and forth? my interest is in having it read any chromatic note I play, as being in tune, to the best accuracy- Apparently in one mode, I have less accuracy? or no chromatic scale tracking? ???????
