There are two features that customers rate the YKA7500 highly on - the color coded stickers which make assembly extremely easy even for novices, and the top bracing which hold your keyboard securely in position (see picture). Frankly I'm surprised that a lot of manufacturers haven't copied these features, but I won't be at all shocked to see that happen sometime going forward. It is well rated in all contexts - gigging, home use, and recording studios.

The height adjusts between 26 and 38.5 inches, the length from 11 to 30 inches, and the depth from 11 to 16.75 inches and it's rated to carry an impressive 300 lbs.

There weren't really any consistently reported negatives although most people who down-rated it did so because it doesn't carry a Yamaha logo on the stand or the box (it is listed on their website), or did so because they bought it for a keyboard that was too small - read the specifications before you buy!

Yamaha are not the 'go to' brand for keyboard stands generally, however this time they really seem to have got it right.
