This stand should be considered pro-line!!!

I had spent months looking for a three 3 stand and everything else I looked at, didn't even compare to this one. The stand is extremely sturdy and the hardware is very stout. I was impressed at how quickly it can be set up and taken down after I had everything adjusted to where I wanted it. It only takes about 10 minutes to take down and set up. Everything is quick release. If you're looking for a pro line, stand look no further.

Quality

Love this stand. Great stand for gigs and rehearsal. Stable, functional, and priced right at sweetwater. A great (3) tier stand.

Heavy Duty but....

Build quality is excellent. I had a nightmare setting it up at first. If you're going to put three keyboards on this stand, get out your graph paper and draw out the dimensions of your synths and the outputs on the back panels. I put the stand together, put the bottom two synths on no problem. But, when I got to the top synth, the line outs were blocked by the legs. So, then I had to take off the bottom synths, adjust the width of legs so as the legs would have clearance for all cabling for three keyboards.

I Wouldn't Take On The Road, But Makes A Pretty Good Stand In The Studio Or At Home

The Good:
So yeah, I wouldn't travel with this thing like my other stands but makes for a pretty good studio or home stand for up to 88 key boards unlike several A-frame ones I have looked at. It holds some weight as you can see in my pic. I am running 2 88 key boards and an old Korg CX3 which none are very light at all. Seems a but unstable at first but gains stability as you add boards to it. I have mine set almost as wide as it goes but it can adjust to narrow and back cross bars adjust accordingly. I like that you can set the height of the tiers to exactly where you want them. I was worried that it would have a notch system and that you would be stuck with preset notches. Not the case at all which is a huge plus. I also like the angle adjustments, which are notched but in just the right spots. Also came with a very nice travel bag but unfortunately, I doubt I will ever use it. I kind of wish it would have been optional and maybe knocked off the price some.

The Bad:
Was a little pricy. It isn't bad for a decent stand but I am not convinced yet that it is a "good price" for what it is. Time will tell.

I didn't get this thing to travel, but to me, it doesn't look like a "travel" type of stand. I guess it could be but it is too long and bulky for my taste. I will stick to my Prototype Roland KS-Pro-K for travel. (I was lucky to get mine but sadly, you just cant get them anymore and Roland wont release them again)

My main gripe about this stand are the arms! They hold the keyboards great but they are sharp! I have cut my knees twice not rolling my chair up to my keyboard. This is definitely a huge design flaw! I am most likely going to have to design something and 3D print some type of end piece so I don't tear my legs up. I hope the manufacturer reads these revues and comes up with a fix. The sharp arms, I think are the reason, I cant give 5 stars.
