Stripped Down and Ready for the Gig

The Roland Blues Cube Hot combo guitar amplifier delivers vintage-flavored tube tone and response in a gig-ready package. Roland's Tube Logic circuitry reproduces every stage of a tweed-era amplifier from preamp to power amp to speaker output. This 1-channel amp offers a large tonal palette and a variable power output so you'll be ready for any gig. The versatile and powerful Roland Blues Cube Hot combo amplifier delivers vintage tube tone and the touch response you want from an amplifier.

Roland Blues Cube Hot 30-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier at a Glance:
  • Vintage amp tone with modern technology
  • Wide range of tones
  • The flexibility for any gig
Vintage amp tone with modern technology

Roland's Tube Logic design brings classic tweed tones to the Blues Cube Hot combo amplifier. Every aspect of these much-loved vintage amps from the preamp and output tube characteristics to the power supply compression to the speaker output is found in the Roland Blues Cube Hot. Pick players and fingerstyle players will love the touch response and sensitivity of this master-crafted amp. Sweetwater knows that amp tone and response are important to you, and we're confident that the Roland Blues Cube Hot can do the job.

Wide range of tones

The Roland Blues Cube Hot gives you two individually voiced channels. Like a tube amp, the clean channel's volume adds tube fatness and bite as you turn it up. The variable gain of the crunch channel lets you dial in the perfect amount of grit. You'll also find a switchable boost for adding crunch and a tone switch for more high-end presence. High-quality reverb adds dimension to your tone. And the Blues Cube Hot's custom 12" speaker is tonally versatile and ready to gig.

The flexibility for any gig

The Roland Blues Cube Hot is loaded with useful features designed to help the amp excel in any situation. Its cabinet's reduced size and mass makes it easy to transport while still offering full-size tone. The power control offers four power output settings ranging from full gigging volume all the way down to 0.5 watts for quiet practice. A headphone output lets you practice at any time of the day or night without disturbing your neighbors. And the USB record output is perfect for capturing your guitar sounds directly to your computer.

Roland Blues Cube Hot 30-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier Features:
  • Gig-ready digital amp with authentic tube-style tone
  • Voiced like vintage tweed-era amps
  • Reduced cabinet size for easy transport
  • Power control switches between 0.5, 5, 15, and 30 watts
  • High-quality reverb
  • Record directly to your computer via the USB output
  • Open-back design with custom 12" speaker
  • NOTE: NOT compatible with Roland Tone Capsules
The Roland Blues Cube Hot may be the most giggable Blues Cube yet.

Amazed!

This amp( I'm sure the whole range) is still being underrated. Don't make that mistake ! This is a fully armed , ready to rumble tone machine, that caresses the soul , and then hits you with blistering blues/rock tones that are not only touch sensitive picking wise, but also very equalization sensitive ( just like a great tube amp). You can amuse yourself all day with the possibilities and come up with and dial in tasty tones for just about any tone hue you can think of. Studio worthy, home practice or creator content, jam with the band or rehearsal,,,,Play a club and open all 30 watts of thunder? Yep. I thought I'd need the stage or the artist for that , but this amp has its own voicing ( I wonder how it'll sound paired with a state or artist? Hmmm) Anyhow , if you're a tone hawk looking for versatility, power, tube behavior, and rugged and solid construction/reliability, all in a small combo( that has attenuation .05 watts, 5 watts 15 watts or 30!)then definitely put aside the now ridiculous controversy regarding solid state and tubes. The lines have been blurred to where the payoff in not chiropractic bills and being able to achieve " that slight breakup tone" , without having to crank to 7 on a big ole tube amp has arrived. She's a peach!

Wonderful little amp

After just a couple hours I had this little fellow sounding very similar to my Mesa Boogie Mark 5 with vertical twin V 30 , 12’s. Cube only weighs 28
Pounds. Very responsive to the right hand and works great with effects pedals. Sounds like it has much more power than it does.
Music background: Almost 50 years as guitar player/singer, still active in 2 different bands.

Th is the one.

Love this amp. Just what I needed for in home practice. But will get loud when needed. I've had Katana, line 6, Blackstar…..to my ears none of these hold a candle to this Blues Cube.

Solid sender…and keeper.

Was looking for a modestly priced tube amp, but this solid state unit's build and features checked off all the boxes and deserved a second look.

With its straightforward design it didn't take long to begin dialing in pleasing tones.

After a few months of getting acquainted, it all came together beautifully.

Whether it was a Gibson LP Studio, SSH Fender Strat, Gibson LP Junior DC or Steel Lap - they all sounded fantastic through this amp.

Especially when finger picking. The tones generated for each string are wonderfully articulated.

Soft or loud - the tonal options are abundant.

Overall, the Roland Blues Cube Hot 30 SS amp delivers the goods and is a worthy investment.

Especially if you too are looking for something that offers more than just being loud. Thanks for reading this.

Simply put, modern electronic music wouldn't exist without Roland. Many of the electronic musicians here at Sweetwater cut our teeth on TR Rhythm machines and fondly remember programming our first TB-303s. We owe a good part of our careers to this amazing and innovative company. It's been fun to watch and grow right alongside Roland, as they've introduced wave after wave of revolutionary keyboards, digital pianos, and more. For example, Roland's V-Drum Kits continuously redefine the possibilities of electronic drums, beginning with SuperNATURAL technology to the latest Prismatic Sound Modeling. We're huge fans, and we'd love to tell you all about them. Whether you want a pocket-sized synth or a cutting-edge video mixer, if Roland makes it, then Sweetwater is 100% behind it.
