Sure thing

300 feet ha I got 434 ft away from my unit and it worked fine. spend the money and get these. tone you loose nothing. no weak signal after 75 feet line of sight ehhh kinda but you can fudge some unlike the elcheapo units. Mr Kinny said I would be happiest with a Sure unit. as always, true to his word. You can boost your signal on these units also if you think U need be sat other end of football field or further.

Shure BLX14 Wireless Guitar System

I received my Shure wireless system within days in perfect condition and was up and running within minutes and I'm no rocket scientist by all means. I followed the simple instructions that came in the box and made one frequency scan and I am able to use it on any three of my guitars without doing any other scans inside of my home. I only wish is I would have purchased the dual system instead of the single. SweetWater did a superb job of taking my order and getting my wireless system shipped to my doorstep in record time I'm my opinion .
Music background: I have been playing guitar since I was 14 years old and in bands since I was of age to enter night clubs and now I am 76 years and have no plans of ever quitting.

Excellent system for mobility and ease of operation.

I became interested in wireless operation having been playing with one of my musical friends. I really like the concept of no wires to trip on or damaged cabling. The equipment is amazingly easy to set up and the instructions are quite explicit. It took about two minutes to get setup. Due to my background as an electrical engineer, I used an audio meter to set transmit levels. As the level set was increased, the distortion could be heard to increase. Level setting is easy even without technical metering. Just listen closely to your output. With an accessory cable a microphone can also be used with the equipment. I ran tests with a Shure SM58s microphone with excellent results. You cannot run both a microphone and a guitar input at the same time but either works very well. Also tested with a Shure PGA31 headset microphone with excellent results as well. Found no trouble with interference on the H9 band. Spectrum analysis showed no problem signals in the spectrum in use. All in all, this is a solid wireless system I can recommend.

Outstanding

I had picked up a Line6 G30 which broke on the first use and range was not very good. So I decided I needed something better. Selected this unit for it's price point and the fact it's not a 2.4 system. This unit is outstanding. The scan works wonderfully. We have Behringer XR18 over a router, 2 other wireless systems and this finds it's place easily range is great. The belt back hooks to my straps or my belt very easily to boot. The range is great. I've had it up setup on top of my amp or on my pedal board where it's low to the ground and it works perfectly in either position. I don't notice any tone loss. Not saying there might not be some, but I don't hear it anyway. Great unit it would recommend to anyone looking to go wireless. Not having an external antenna is not a problem and great for a guitarist looking not to have anything else to break.
