I just received this Orange Crush Bass 50 in black from Sweetwater. I like deep bass tones and this amp surely delivers that. I plugged in my Jazz Bass and tinkered with the amp knobs and just like that I found my sweet tone spot. I highly recommend this bass amp. It's solidly built and sounds great. Nick Rice from Sweetwater was extremely helpful too.

Actually bought the black version of this particular amp a few weeks ago elsewhere along with a 10-ft Mogami Gold instrument cable (thanks to the Sweetwater staff for handling my first official order regarding the latter, by the way). Brought my "recently-salvaged" 1974-75 Gibson EB-3L to life for the first time in 30+ years after being forgotten in my mother's long-neglected backhouse. Haven't fiddled too much with the tone control knobs just yet, but that built-in tuner was a BRILLIANT idea from Orange! Saved me a lot of time and effort getting that old bass up and running again as a result. Sound is so pure yet quite loud and full of depth coming from that fairly small cabinet, especially with the Mogami cable doing its part as well. HIGHLY recommend the 50-watt version to those looking for a top-notch home practice/studio rehearsal option that won't leave your wallet dry (lol). Solidly-built, too. Probably one of the few things "Made In China" that doesn't leave the buyer feeling like they got ripped off, credit to the folks at Orange for utilizing strict QC standards over there. Kinda remind me of Yamaha in that sense...

This is a great practice amp. Weighing in at 31 pounds and 50 watts, it packs a sizeable punch with the eq set flat. However, by the time I dialed in my tone, I was maxing my volume out to play at small venue levels. The tone I was able to get out of this amp was wonderful - nice rich, deep, tones. The blend setting is a bit much for my style of playing, but now that I have it, I'll be looking for a chance to use it.

High quality build and sound. Worth every penny.

The Orange Crush bass 50 is one of the few amps I've tried that I can honestly say satisfies my need for a great sounding quality practice amp. The cab is fairly light, but not TOO light (if you know what I mean). Cab material seems a bit thicker and more solid than a lot of other combos I've tried - no rattles or buzzes. The rear port is tuned well (if a cab is not tuned right by design, it will sound like crap regardless of EQ compensation). Input stage is very quiet and the headphone output is loud and very warm (a big plus for me because most of my woodshedding is done late at night). The overdrive circuit sounds great and really makes this amp fun to play through. The only thing I wish the amp had is a Lo-Z DI output for recording. All in all, I'm totally happy with it and a BIG thanks to the Sweetwater sales team who made sure I was happy with my purchase.
