Atomic Delay and Reverb Combination

What do you get when you combine a dense delay and radioactive reverb? To find out, the mad scientists at Source Audio took the Nemesis Delay and Ventris Reverb and smashed them together at high speed. When they had finished their experiments, the One Series Collider Delay + Reverb emerged from the rubble carrying the best features from each pedal. This pedal has seven reverb types and five delay engines crammed into one housing with intuitive controls. It’s loaded with dual 56-bit DSP processors that give you enough experimental potential to run both effects simultaneously. The Collider Stereo Delay + Reverb from Source Audio will unleash unique tones that are perfect for the guitarist that’s always experimenting.

Diverse delay engines

Do you like having options? So do the pedal fanatics at Sweetwater. The Collider is equipped with the five most popular delay engines from the Source Audio Nemesis delay pedal. It offers effects in two categories: Classic and Modern. In the Classic category, you can experiment with tape, analog, and oil can delays. For the Modern side of things, you have access to reverse and digital delay options. The control knobs allow you to tweak the tone, tape age, and modulation depth and rate.

Reactive reverb effects

Flip the selector switch to reverb, and you’ll immediately have access to seven reverbs taken from the Source Audio Ventris dual reverb pedal. Like delay engines, these are organized into Classic and Unnatural categories. On the Classic side, you can select from spring and plate reverbs, natural room, and an ’80s hall reverb. If you’re ready to get weird, the Unnatural category includes a massive E-dome, pitch-shifting shimmer, and momentous swell function. Both the delay and reverb engines have dedicated ON/OFF footswitches while the delay switch provides tap tempo functionality.

Intuitive interface with locking settings

The Collider Delay + Reverb has an incredibly simple interface and controls. It has dedicated footswitches for both the delay and reverb. You control your effect settings with a toggle switch that controls each sound engine separately. When the toggle switch is set to Reverb, all the knobs will control the reverb settings. To control your delay settings, simply flip the switch and tweak away! If you’re worried about unintentional knob bumps, set the toggle switch Lock to keep your settings in place. Even if you bump the knobs, your tone won't be affected.

Source Audio Collider Delay and Reverb Pedal Features:

  • Dual 56-bit DSP processors deliver two studio-grade effects at once
  • Intuitive interface makes adjustments easy
  • Dedicated footswitches control delay and reverb separately
  • Complete MIDI functionality allows the Collider to be controlled with external MIDI messages
  • Store up to 8 user presets onboard and 120 presets via MIDI program change

  • Universal bypass allows for buffered or relay-based true bypass options

  • Compatible with expression pedals for greater functionality

This is the best reverb/delay pedal ever made...

After watching several videos of some people that build pedal systems for a living, and do very long serious and very overwhelming research I went ahead and got one for my A pedalboard. When you do music for a living is a little difficult to compromise when it comes to quality, after have a very nice studio pedalboard system with pretty much anything you'll need and having as a base the Strymon line up, I was super spectacle. When I put it in one of my pedal and used it, OM!!!! what a wonderful surprise, the quality, flexibility and amazing tone, and if that is not enough 2 in 1, what more can you ask. I got a secondary one for a small pedalboard I put together very last minute for small gigs and stuff, and OM!! it sounded simply ridiculous!! Now I am getting 2 more, one for my acoustic guitar and Bass. Source Audio is the best!!

I'm not alone

Lots of positive reviews to which that I'll add my +1. It's my third Source Audio pedal, and now I'm seriously considering adding the Soleman MIDI Foot Controller and the Neuro Hub to my board.
Music background: I tried my hand at composing music for film and TV with a few placements but I'm retired now.

Wow

I listened to demos of about 8 different well-regarded reverb / reverb+delay pedals before settling on this. It sounds amazing. I have great reverb and delay plugins from Relab and UAD, and this stands toe to toe with them or even beats them. It's really easy to dial in a great sound quickly, yet the pedal has a lot of flexibility for when you want it. If the knob layout bothers you, you can use the smartphone app, but honestly I think the knob layout is fine.

My favorite so far is Tape Delay -> E-Dome. Using it with my Moog Grandmother.

Source Audio Collider

Outstanding pedal - haven't dived in deep yet but just on the surface the pedal is great. What is best about this is the sounds - very musical and inspiring - the reverbs are really good. The presets are great in that I just need a few anyway and if you need more just grab a small midi changer and you are in business. I ordered the tap tempo pedal and that will help to have that small pedal on the bottom part of my pedalboard so that I don't have to balance my leg during performance! For my rig this pedal is great and sounds awesome!

Absolutely

Finally! A combination of Delay and Reverb is here. In one pedal. If your pedalboard is small, this is a great solution. I really love this pedal. The sound is good. This is a combination of those Strymon or Eventide big pedals. Nice engineering work Source Audio.. Two thumbs up
