Cordoba's Original Tenor Ukulele with Premium Appointments

With its solid acacia top, figured acacia back and sides, and snazzy wooden rope-style binding, the Cordoba 25T-CE tenor ukulele offers premium tone and looks in its class. The sound is bright and round, and the built-in active 2-band pickup delivers clear plugged-in tone. The real bone nut and saddles provide excellent vibrational transfer, creating an exceptionally articulate and dynamic voice. For a smooth-playing, sweet-sounding tenor ukulele that stands out from the rest, check out the Cordoba 25T-CE.

Back to the ukulele's roots

In designing its ukulele series, Cordoba traced the instrument back to its heritage: the Portuguese braguinha. Cordoba began building in Portugal with period-appropriate build methods and body woods before learning where they could innovate for better tone and playability. Sweetwater is sure that even experts will be impressed by the Cordoba 25T-CE's impressive features for the money.

Cordoba 25T-CE Tenor Ukulele Features:

  • Solid acacia top and figured acacia back/sides for bright, round tone
  • Premium cosmetics including maple/ebony rope-style binding with matching rosette and tie-block
  • 2-band active pickup system for plugged-in performance
  • Spruce fan bracing for balanced tonality and better projection
  • Bone nut and saddles enhance articulation and harmonic richness
  • Thin satin finish for an organic feel

One awesome instrument!

I got this ukulele 10 days ago and have not put it down. It plays great, sounds very good and I love the look. This is my 1st time playing the ukulele and I've already learned almost 20 great songs.

Love this Electric Uke

I use this electric ukulele for church performances and for my YouTube channel, and it sounds wonderful. I haven't yet bought my amp cord, because this ukulele is really living up to its advertising. It has a sweet sound, though not the same as a mahogany uke, the one I first bought. But definitely am very content.

Cordoba 25T-CE

A very nice Ukulele for the price.
Impressed by the quality considering it's mass produced in the C country.
Electronics work great. Sounds very good.
A slight problem with the bridge, but Sweetwater is fixing it. Not a major problem
but they treat it as such.
Beautiful wood grain. Seen higher priced Ukes with not as nice wood.
Thanks Sweetwater.

Good performer for the money

Cordoba has come a long way from its earliest days producing ukuleles. This model is indicative of the latest improvements in performance and tonal qualities. I was the founder and publisher of Ukulele Player Magazine. I've played more ukuleles than I can count. Over the years Cordoba has improved greatly. Now, they are much livelier and the fit and finish is far better than their early instruments.

I actually bought this model to occasionally play "live" through a Fishman Loudbox Mini. Through the Loudbox this ukulele sounds wonderful.

Out of the box the action was way too high. I have been doing setups for decades, so, I filed down the saddle to where I like it and the uke came alive. Now, I can play up the neck and enjoy barre chords and little riffs at an acceptable level.

I love the look of this instrument and it sounds great through the Loudbox Mini 60watt amp. If you play live, it is a low-cost, decent performing uke, and I highly recommend the Fishman amp as a companion to it. BTW, the Loudbox has a DI output on the backside. It's great for recording.

First Uke!

After playing a number of Ukes in the past, I finally decided to purchase one for myself. I come from nylon string guitar background so the transition from guitar to ukelele went really smoothly.
The tenor size ukelele I believe is the best size to cross over from guitar to uke. Not too small like a soprano, but still gives a great traditional feel.
The Acacia on this one is lovely, and it has a beautiful traditional binding and rosette. By the way, the rosette is a mosaic, making it that much better.
Really nice sound both acoustic, and with the surprisingly nice pickup system.
The only downside, is that it stuggles sometimes to stay in tune. I don't know if that's a ukelele thing, probably not. However, Cordoba does offer other tuning machines that loom great and will keep it in tune.
All around a SOLID buy.
Music background: Nylon string, Classical and Flamenco player.
