Thumbs up for Ernie Ball Jr volume pedal

I've used this on my board for 6 years. Very rugged design & handles traveling well. I appreciate the range (approx. 1-1/2") it offers as I use it primarily for swales during worship services. Also allows me to offer close to pedal steel sounds in a pinch. I appreciate the large pedal for my size 13 shoe.

Re: 25k vpjr

Ok it is large, physically it's placed at the front of my board so I can step on it ezier but its actually connected in the middle right before modulation pedals, flanger/delay/verb/etc, (just longer patch cables to it) and it works like a champ, (25k) no issues whatsoever and I'm also using the tuner out to polytune 3 (again no issues) the sweep is smooth / controllable, when EB builds a smaller version, I'll probly be on it, but I'm very happy with this version even so. Bottom line, had a mini vol pedal I sold because this one just feels so much better.

Solid Expression Pedals

These are my favorite expression pedals, so far. They are build well and the movement of the pedal feels just right. I have two on my pedalboard.

Heavy Duty

The most solidly built pedal and versatile expression/volume pedal I have found. I've had a number of volume and expression pedals. The Ernie Ball with the 25k pot serves as either.
I can use it in line before an amp or before my Helix, or I can put it in the FX loop of either.
Connected with a single TS (instrument)cable into the output jack of the pedal, it functions as an expression pedal for my Line 6 Helix products. Using a Y cable that splits TRS to TS to the in and out jacks of the pedal, it can be used as an expression pedal for effects and boards that require a three conductor (TRS) plug.
What I really like, though, is the swing of the pedal. A lot of pedals have a very limited range of motion. That's fine for Wah, that's the way wah pedals are made. But for a volume and expression pedal I expect more range top to bottom. The Ernie Ball has about 1-1/2 inches of range compared to less than 3/4 inch with some other rather expensive expression pedals.
One of the purchases I have ever made.
