Premium Classical Guitar Strings

All D'Addario Pro-Arte Nylon Core classic guitar strings deliver full-range tone with precise intonation and great projection. The clear treble strings are sorted by a computer-controlled laser machine for quality so you get the best sounding and playing strings possible. Pro-Arte silver-plated copper basses use a multi-filament nylon core for warm tone with exceptional projection. Sweetwater knows that choosing the perfect string is vital to a musician's sound. D'Addario EJ45 Pro-Arte normal tension strings give you rich tone and dynamic projection.

D'Addario - Making strings for over 300 years

Behind every set of D'Addario strings are over three centuries of fine craftsmanship. The D'Addario family tradition began in the tiny town of Salle, Italy in 1680 where they made assorted instrument strings for over two hundred years before relocating to New York in 1905. As the modern string making industry began to develop, the D'Addario family emerged as innovators by designing the winding machine most string makers still use today. And while their techniques have modernized, the pride that goes into each set of strings dates back to the D'Addario family's earliest roots.

Magic

I struggle alternating between my Martin D18 with steel strings and Cordoba classical with nylon strings. Love playing both but picking up the Cordoba with EJ45 STRINGS now more than ever. Once new strings settle down, the tone is sweet and absolutely balanced between the nylon trebles and bases. Unbelievable how long lasting this strings are. I wipe them down with Fast Fret. Worth a few extra bucks per set.

D'Addario Pro.* Arte' Classical EJ45

This set took sometime for the strings from slippage and required adjustments with the turn keys. However, I found the tonal quality no different than sets I used twice in cost. This EJ45 durability at the stress point, bridge, exceeded twice as long before breakage. Good to go 5*.

Best Strings Around!

I've been playing D'Addario strings for decades, and have found them to be consistent, and dependable. They have a nice warm sound, while sounding crisp at the same time. I always reach for the normal tension strings, as they seem to work best on my guitars. I also tried Pro-Arte rectified strings recently (EJ30) and found them to be incredible. 5 stars for this gem of a string!

EJ45 My Go To String

As others have said this is the string to start with. The DAddario EJ45 is the neutral string that lets you know what your guitar really sounds like. Then If you want to emphasize something on your Guitar you can change the tension in the feel of the string to create different tonal properties of your technique. I primarily play Flamenco and Latin style on a very light top five fan brace or seven fan brace guitar. For my acquisition of an Andy Culpepper 2017 #83 Spruce Blanca built in the Barbero style 5 fan brace with two smaller braces in lower bout the EJ45 strings just let the guitar sound warm when played gently almost like a classical and then when pushed I can get a very growly/ raspy with wood tone flamenco sound. I am very happy with the EJ45's I've tried about 10 different string set on this guitar and I and a few others came to prefer the EJ45s on this guitar. Hope that helps.

the best strings out there!

these D'addario's just hold their intonation, and don't go out of tune.
and they are packaged in an antioxidant bag to keep in freshness.
I've tried other string makers, and those guys can't hold a candle to
D"addario strings,... you won't be disappointed.
