Glass Fiber Speaker Cone for Punchy Sound

When Behringer decided they wanted to make an exceptional set of studio monitors, they contacted one of the most renowned speaker designers in the world - the founder of KRK, Keith R. Klawitter. Keith designed the unique glass fiber speaker cone, known for its outstanding bass punch and transient response. Combined with Keith's "Advanced Waveguide Technology" silk dome tweeter, you can expect powerful lows, detailed mids, and smooth highs from the Behringer Nekkst K8.

Clear sound from bi-amped design

With 150 watts of power and a bi-amped design, the Behringer Nekkst K8 is primed for powerful, clear performance. The bi-amped design powers the low-frequency and high-frequency drivers separately, allowing each to work more efficiently for clearer sound.

Optimize the sound for your room

While the Nekkst K8 is designed with a flat frequency response, rear-panel switches let you fine-tune it to compensate for your environment. There are high frequency and low frequency controls to compensate for the general sound of your room, plus a room compensation control to accommodate different speaker positions.

Impossible to beat for the price

These are super loud and clear. I've been in professional studios with monitors costing orders of magnitude more that didn't sound any better. Excellent value.

Some of the loudest & cleanest sound no matter where you were & some of the nastiest bass ive ever heard come out of monitor speakers. I don't know why anyone would pay more for something not nearly as great sounding as my 8's.

Behringer NEKKST K8 Powered Speaker

I'm almost afraid to write a speaker review. The perception of just about any speaker is or can be very personal and subjective. Even looking at specs and comparing other speakers doesn't communicate how "good" a speaker is. I will also admit that my hearing is not what it used to be. My golden ears are more like silver now. But I still know what I like to hear from a speaker. Okay, having said all that mouthful, I'm saying that, to me, these speakers are exceptional. If you want to look at specs, then, by all means, go right ahead. There's nothing there to complain about and even a few things at which to marvel. The sound is clean, with bass, mids, and highs all well represented - highly accurate, in my opinion. In other words, these are near-perfect studio monitors. The bi-amped power is exceptional. Fair warning: they are not lightweight, so be sure you have a surface or a stand that will support 20+ lbs. securely. And last, but not least, they look great!
