Delivers Huge Marshall Tone

The MG30GFX is loaded with pure Marshall tone. You get your choice of Clean, Crunch, OD1, and OD2 channels that you can shape with a 3-band EQ. You also get integrated reverb, delay, and other digital effects. Best of all, each channel's settings are storable and recallable. There's enough power on tap for rehearsal or studio, and the MG30GFX's revolutionary solid-state design convincingly emulates a tube amp's tone and response. Beyond that, the MG30GFX supplies you with a line input for music players and emulated headphone and line outputs. Part of Marshall's MG Gold series, the MG30GFX is a great-sounding, feature-packed combo amp.

From the music store to stages everywhere

Jim Marshall didn't start out building great amps. In fact, his entry into the amp world came about in part because the drummers that visited his music shop for equipment and lessons often brought along their guitar players. Conversations about their amplification needs led to the birth of a line of amps that would eventually change the sound of music. From those first humble creations to Pete Townshend's first monster full stacks; from the mid-'60s combos to Hendrix to backlines of multiple Marshall rigs, there's a reason why so many guitarists (including quite a few here at Sweetwater) swear by Marshall amps. Try one out and see for yourself!

Surprisingly loud

I bought this Amp because you can't really haul around a half stack. I went with Marshall because my Marshall DSL 100 watt Half Stack didn't disappoint! Now this being a solid-state Amp I was a bit leary, BUT! I was surprised of the tones I could dial in.
I also bought the optional 4 button footswitch which made it nice. I definitely would recommend this Amp.

30 watt Marshall MG30FX amp is perfect!!

Beautiful clean sound to a beautiful Marshall crunch with several effects and 2 different overdrives, I think it's about 24 pounds, super portable
awesome for studio amp or small clubs, I'm so freakin happy with this amp!!! Good price, FREE shipping!

Marshall MG30GFX

I bought this amp a month ago and have been playing through it since. The amp has four effects that are adjustable, you can shred or you can play some layed back blues, or anything in between. I'm happy I bought this amp. I'm also happy with Sweetwater. I've been dealing with them for several years and they have always taken good care of me. Thanks Ed.

My First Marshall

Very impressive and sounds great! Good effects to boot, and plenty of gain. Od's are somewhat louder than clean channel, and can't really dial lower but not a deal breaker. Love the portability and looks, and loud enough I think for small gigs. I am waiting for the nice pedal and cover. I have a small Rivera Venus combo and a Mesa Rectoverb 25 combo and both are about 39 lbs. There are places I don't want to take them, so my first Marshall is perfect! I'll gig with my pedal board thru the clean channel, but it's fine with the 4 switch pedal that comes separately in case I feel lazy. Don't mean to write a book here, so I'll close by saying I love it!

Love it1

I may have had low expectations but this amp is 5 stars awesome! Sounds killer and is super compact. Sweetwater rocks =)

There are countless "British"-style guitar amplifiers out there, but take it from the lifelong guitarists and tone connoisseurs at Sweetwater, when it comes to Marshall tone, there's nothing like the real thing. We've played them all, from vintage JTM45s and the ultra-cool Plexi reissue to modern handmade masterpieces such as the JVM410. There isn't a model among them we can't recommend with total confidence, and that includes their more affordable models too, like MG, DSL, and Code series amps. Thanks to our tight relationship with Marshall, Sweetwater's always on the cutting edge of their latest designs, custom models, and limited-edition gems. If you want iconic tone from across the pond, you want Marshall, and your Sweetwater Sales Engineer will help you find the perfect one.
