An All-in-one Guitar-processing Solution

The Zoom MS-50G MultiStomp guitar effects pedal is the first of its kind to put an entire effects processor into a single stompbox-sized unit. This gives you a huge collection of amps and effects right on your pedalboard. Never be without the sounds you need again!

What makes the MS-50G so cool?

  • Pro-quality sounds from a large selection of amps, stompboxes, and effects
  • Easy-to-use interface with large LCD screen
  • Stereo outputs for feeding two amplifiers or direct recording
  • Program the order of your patches
  • Ultra-compact design that fits your pedalboard

Big processing power in a compact pedal

Now you can have the big power of a multi-effects processor in the size of a single pedal, with the Zoom MS-50G MultiStomp guitar pedal. Choose from over 47 modeled effects and eight amplifiers to create your ideal guitar tones. A large LCD screen makes the MS-50G easy to use in any lighting condition. Right out of the box, this Zoom processor has over 30 presets that are ready to rock the stage, plus 50 user presets you can use to design and save your own sounds.

Create your own amp and cabinet combinations

With the combination of eight amp models and 47 stompbox and rack effects, the Zoom MS-50G MultiStomp guitar pedal is ready to create the amp rig of your dreams. Amp models range from modern to vintage, plus you get to choose your speaker cabinet. You can take control of the amp functions and cabinet size to create your own signature rig.

Classic stompbox and rack effects give you a professional sound

From fat overdrives to swirling choruses to huge hall reverbs, the Zoom MS-50G has the effects you need. Use up to six stompboxes and effects to create a full rig with amp models, the perfect pedalboard, or a single standalone effect. You can place the effects in any order you want in the signal chain to create your signature sound.

Quickly and easily tweak settings to create the perfect tone

Everything you need to quickly change your settings is available on the MS-50G MultiStomp guitar effects pedal. A set of three parameter control knobs that double as buttons let you dig deep into your settings to dial up the perfect effect. A set of cursor keys built around the footswitch let you navigate through the entire library of effects and add them to your signal chain in seconds.

Large LCD display makes operation easy

The Zoom MS-50G MultiStomp guitar pedal has a large LCD display built in, so you can instantly see your settings. You'll love being able to see exactly what your presets' settings are with this big backlit display. There's nothing worse than having to guess how your knobs are set and messing everything up at a show.

A single footswitch with a multitude of functions

The footswitch on the MS-50G isn't just a one-trick pony — it's the hub of live control. Use it to toggle presets on and off, or to turn on and off the built-in tuner. When it's set to tap tempo, you can set the delay time or speed of various modulation effects. You can also set the patch order so that the footswitch goes from preset to preset. For example, you could select three patches — (A) CLEAN TONE, (B) OVERDRIVE, (C) LEAD SOLO — and program the MS-50G to cycle through only those three each time you press the footswitch.

Flexible output and power options for any situation

No matter what your output needs are, the Zoom MS-50G MultiStomp guitar effects pedal is ready to rock. The stereo outputs can be configured for line-out direct recording, for going into the front of your amp, or for being connected to a power-amp input. Flexible power options let you use the MS-50G in a variety of settings. You can power the MS-50G MultiStomp with 2 x AA batteries, for up to seven hours of use; with an optional AC adapter; or via USB bus. The USB port not only powers the device, but it also lets you update your firmware.

Best Effects Company: Zoom is the new Boss and they do it better for my needs

I produce high volume 420 Christian music. When we plug the Zoom MS-50G direct into our high wattage tour rig, this pedal is as silent as our six-figure mixers. WOW. We got rid of our mixer and gave each musician a Zoom MS-50G to control the volume levels on the fly with the presets. We plug the four instrument into a multi-input DI (SESCOM). No noise, no sound checks needed, and no set-up/breakdowns (we can ask and get paid sooner than the other acts). This set-up would be great for four piece rock bands. You set snd control your Levels, Compression, and EQ--FOH, Stage monitors, etc. I am composing music specifically for this rig.

Not only is it really clean, but Zoom headroom is superior to Boss for direct digital recording.

The effects"emulate" all the greatest EFX that guitarists favor. We use the Zoom on Voice, elec drum kit, Gutar, and Bass.

We currently own six. When playing/strumming for pleasure, if you tinker with this box, your riffs can evolve into verses, choruses, and songs.

And it is the most affordable AND Least expensive for my needs.

I've been around for 60 years. Hot products come, go, and even good ones die.

Amazing pedal

I couldn't believe all of the effects etc inside
This pedal. It's a computer. It's amazing how they
Can get all of that guitar gear inside a pedal. With this pedal I don't need all my other toys etc in
My sound tool box. I use it for recording sitting on the desk work Station. Crazy pedal.
Music background: Hobby.

An amazing pedal

After playing guitar for almost 20 years and buying and selling a lot of gear, I have started to simplify my rig. I can dial in a killer tone with this pedal in minutes. My favorite is the ZNR noise reduction, Two Rock amp and the plate reverb. Simple as that through a Headrush speaker. Yes, there are a lot of effects on this pedal I will never use. You just have to find the ones that you like and the ones that sound good.

Zoom MS-50g is a very good sounding multi effects pedal.

I have been playing guitar for close to 20 years now. My experiences with amplifiers is not extensive, but my preference for now is Blackstar and Boss. Many pedals have come and gone through my years of tone chasing and effects. I bought this pedal specifically to connect directly to my Headrush frfr 8" speaker for practicing. My Xvive U2 wireless into the input of the pedal and a TRS cable output directly to the speaker. I really didn't know what to expect with this setup and my expectations were not really high. I was pleasantly surprised when the first two patches I set up were amazing. So far my favorite amp models are the Two Rock and the Matchless 30. If you use these amp models with a little gain and tube comp set around half way, and put an overdrive/distortion effect in front with gain set about the same, it works amazingly well. Individual note definition is spot on and it just sings. I also have a little delay and reverb added into the chain as well. It is really cool you can have a signal chain with 5 effects and 1 amp in it. I didn't hit the DSP limit on either one. One thing I need to mention is; this pedal was shipped to me with the latest version 3.10, but it did not have the additional effects or the added 14 amp models installed which is part of this update. I had to load the pedal edit software from Zoom on my computer, and then add these to the pedal in the edit. I wasn't too happy about having to do this but it worked out i guess. I have no idea why Zoom would be shipping these pedals out without these already installed. Besides that issue I am very happy with the Zoom MS-50g.
