True Stereo Chorus for Lush Guitar Tones!

The MXR Stereo Chorus pedal adds that extra "something" to your guitar's tone, animating your strummed passages, and widening your power chords in that shimmery way that only chorus can. You can set this pedal's Rate and Width controls to your liking, and then dial in the level of the chorus effect using the Intensity knob. Convenient Bass and Treble controls let you further sculpt your tone by EQ-ing the modulated frequencies. Sounding great in mono, you can also use this pedal's stereo outputs for an even huger, anthem-like sound. Plus, a cool Bass Filter button can keep your low end intact while your guitar's high frequencies sing with the MXR's Stereo Chorus tone!

MXR Stereo Chorus Features:
  • Footswitch toggles effect on/hardwire bypass (red LED indicated on)
  • Intensity control adjusts overall effect level
  • Rate and Width knobs tailor chorus tone - from subtle and sparkly to lush and watery
  • Bass and Treble knobs EQ the modulated frequencies only
  • Bass filter button leaves low end intact
  • Stereo outputs for a huge tonal spread
  • Accepts two 9-volt batteries
  • Can be powered by Dunlop ECB-004 18-volt AC Adapter (included)
MXR's Stereo Chorus gives your sound that extra shimmer!

Favorite chorus but you really need the power brick

This is hands-down my favorite chorus. I was trying to figure out if I should get this or a June 60 V2 And this managed to pop up.
The main attraction was the bass and treble cut that is Pre-effect. And this is capable of getting you a solid Juno emulation with some extra clarity and punch that I've only heard on the dimension C. I would AB this with the dimension C before buying it because some people have told me that they don't like the swirly tone.

Because of how power-hungry this pedal is I wouldn't consider it for travel or for a micro set up.

18v and Large Footprint, but Sounds great!

Opted for the stereo chorus because I wanted the EQ and Chorus controls (Intensity, Rate, etc). Large footprint and 18v requirement might be negatives for some pedalboards. It bumped an EHX Small Clone off my board, and I'm happy with the change so far.

Really fun pedal.

I don't have a stereo guitar amp. You can run your guitar through this into 2 inputs of a DAW. Then reamp each channel separately through a mono amp. It's really clean too. I sing vocals through it. I bought a stereo pair of ribbon mic overheads, but have been meaning to try a mono overhead through this. MXR should change it's name to MSG, cuz this stuff is addicting!

Delicious

Just all-around great sound. Warm, not too overwhelming that your sound is drowning in it. Does just enough, and really fills individual notes and chords.

A wide palette of warm tones easily found with 5 knobs.
No brittle digital ice here.
No endless hours tweaking in an attempt to break through to a sound that is not heinous.
