A Tiny Amp with Big Sound

Packed with a 12AX7 preamp tube and an EL84 power tube, the handbuilt 5-watt Bugera T5 Infinium guitar amplifier head serves up all of the buttery, tube-soaked tones that you've heard on countless songs throughout the history of the electric guitar. Complete with a high-definition reverb and a built-in power attenuator, the T5 Infinium is a pint-sized, do-it-all head. On top of that, Bugera's Tube Life Multiplier Technology ensures that the T5 Infinium guitar amplifier gives you reliability and consistent tone over the lifespan of your tubes. Sweetwater Sales Engineers have played through virtually every amp in existence, and they know how to get you the tone you're looking for!

Bugera T5 Infinium Guitar Amplifier at a Glance:
  • Classic all-tube design provides sweet harmonics and warm distortion
  • High-definition reverb puts the finishing touch on your sound
  • Infinium technology takes the hassle and expense out of tube tone
Classic all-tube design provides sweet harmonics and warm distortion

Inside the Bugera T5 Infinium guitar amplifier you'll find a 12AX7 preamp tube, as well as an EL84 power tube, giving you classic, all-tube tone. The hand-selected 12AX7 provides you with sweetly balanced harmonics and natural tube compression, while the EL84 really drives the T5 Infinium when pushed to the max. With the T5 Infinium, you can easily conjure up the warm distortion and breakup you've come to appreciate from the vintage amps of yesteryear.

High-definition reverb puts the finishing touch on your sound

The Bugera T5 Infinium guitar amplifier's high-definition reverb adds a distinctive polish to your sound. Fully adjustable, the T5's reverb can provide you with all sorts of different effects. From subtle ambience to a cavernous, reverberant arena, the T5 can pull it off.

Infinium technology takes the hassle and expense out of tube tone

Sweetwater guitarists agree that there's no tone like tube tone. But we also know that the cost involved in owning and maintaining a tube guitar amplifier can be prohibitive. Solid-state amps have come a long way, but even the best amp model can't beat true tube tone, and Bugera's Infinium technology means no more compromising what you want. The Infinium circuit is designed to optimize the performance of your output tubes and distribute the load evenly between the tubes, giving you tonal integrity and reliability. By automatically adjusting current levels, aging tubes are compensated for and your tone retains that toasty, day one sound throughout its life. Tubes, by nature, do wear out and die, but when you play an Infinium amp, you'll never worry. This exclusive technology allows you to grab whatever replacement tube you have on hand and get back to playing - there's no matching necessary. In fact, now you can mix and match tubes to create your very own signature sound without the hassle and expense of buying matched pairs. And because Infinium is a bit like having your own guitar amp tech with you on every gig, you get up to 20 times more life out of your tubes. When it is time to change one out, you'll know exactly where to go, thanks to the life-monitoring LED readout that keeps you in the know about your amp's health. Only Bugera makes the joy of owning and playing a tube amplifier this accessible and easy!

Give it a shot

I know what you're thinking. This is a cheap amp. Not a "real" name brand. We've all read snobby people opinions about Bugera. But the truth is this little thing is amazing. For the price you can't find anything that even comes close. It feels like a rock solid piece of equipment in my hand. It can easily run bigger cabs but I run it into my little orange 1x8 cab. I got this to not annoy my wife while she's sleeping. At first I thought it was a little muddy but I hooked up my earthquaker plumes and it opened up a whole new sound. I use the pedal as a treble boost and it sounds fantastic. It's not a dirty sounding or high gain amp at all. Mostly clean which is cool because it gives me the chance to make my own sound without being committed right off the bat. Honestly just give it a chance. It's a lot louder than I thought it would be. Exceeded my expectations 10 fold.

Tons of tone in a small package.

My first tube amp. Anyone who thinks 5watts isn't enough? This little beast will get loud! Put your favorite overdrive in front of this and wake the neighbors. Would get 5 stars but, won't go into full on distortion without an overdrive. Running through a 412 straight cab with eminence legend 1275 and 1258.

Nice Amp head

I bought this amp a few weeks ago and I'm using it with an old Crate CR2 amp cabinet that has a 12 inch 4 ohm Speaker. It's sounds great for clean or crunchy overdrive tones. I can promise you this thing gets pretty loud fully dimed out on all attenuator settings for use at my house. Even the .1 watt mode can be loud enough and I like loud music. Overall it's a good amp for home use if you live in a house. If you live in an apartment your neighbors won't be happy but I am using a 12 inch speaker. Anyway just my thoughts on this amp. Great value for the money.

Great amp in a small package

The Bugera T5 arrived from Sweetwater today in perfect condition, packing was over the top, triple boxed. The amp does all a much more expensive amp does at half the price. I saw one review that claimed theres had a bad hum but that can be caused by several other things in the house. They should have sent it back as Sweetwater has an excellent return policy, one of the best. Mine is dead quite, no gremlins. I highly recommend this amp.
