14 Stackable Reverbs with Adjustable Spillover

From angelic shimmer to Bauhaus indie ambience, the Source Audio Ventris is your ticket to just about any reverb style your evolving appetites desire. Onboard, you'll find 14 fully realized selectable stereo reverb engines, which can be stacked two at a time, and enough controls to please even the choosiest reverb fanatic. Two massive and totally independent 56-bit signal processors are the key to the Ventris's flawless signal path. An expression pedal input gives you real-time control of up to three parameters at once. You can even deep dive and save favorites for instant recall using the free Neuro Editor desktop or mobile app. A feature Sweetwater reviewers particularly enjoyed is the adjustable spillover control, which preserves reverb tails even as you switch modes. Whether you're out to stake new claims in sonic landscapes or plumb new depths of classic drip and room reverbs, you'll find what you're after and more in the Source Audio Ventris Dual Reverb pedal.

14 stereo reverbs, including True Spring

  • Room
  • Hall-L
  • E-Dome
  • True Spring
  • Plate
  • Lo-Fi
  • Modverb
  • Shimmer
  • Echoverb
  • Swell
  • Offspring
  • Reverse
  • Outboard Spring
  • Metal Box

Stack two reverbs at once

With two independent DSP chips, the Ventris Dual Reverb lets you stack ambiences two at a time for unique effects. Now you can give your surf drip haunting tails and infuse your hall reverbs with modulated tremors and pedal dives.

Adjustable spillover

Lesser digital reverbs may cut off your reverb tails as you explore presets, but not the Source Audio Ventris. An adjustable effect called spillover lets you control just how long your tails linger on when jumping from preset to preset, which is great for keeping your audience engaged and in the moment when moving from song to song or section to section.

Configure settings via your phone or laptop

Right out of the box, the Ventris Dual Reverb is a fully realized, fully playable pedal. But for deep divers and tone tweakers, Source Audio's Neuro Editor software is sure to please. Available for your smartphone as well as your desktop computer, Neuro takes you inside the pedal's powerful 56-bit Sigma DSP and allows you to fine-tune all sorts of parameters, from spring length and pre-delay to diffusion and much more. Once you've created your ideal effects, you can save up to three favorites on the Ventris for instant recall, without ever having to open the editor again.

The Ventris is full of top-shelf reverbs

I have owned several reverb pedals in the past (Strymon Flint, RV-6, Catalinbread, etc) but this one stands above them all in quality and versatility. I purchased it for the Hall, Room, Plate verbs because I never thought anything would provide me the same feel as the spring in my Princeton. The True Spring verbs have changed my mind...wow! I like that you can save multiple preset favorites and switch between them seamlessly, even adding a tremolo to your spring like a 60s Fender amp. I didn't think the dual verb function would see the light of day on my board but I have found that mixing certain verbs tastefully can create inspiration and I now have several programmed into my favorites. Source Audio has my attention and if you are looking for an array of quality reverb with easy access to multiple tones, look no further...you've found it in the Ventris. As always, Sweetwater communication and delivery throughout the order was flawless. A++

My second one, I could give it more stars

I had both the Ventris and the Nemesis and while I liked the Nemesis, I loved the Ventris. I wound up selling them both and bought the Collider thinking it could free up board space and be pretty much equivalent to owning the two, wrong. I could not get used to the shared roles of the parameters and found toggling back from one to another a bit confusing and also I just missed the broader range and dedicated controls on the Ventris. Anyway I typically run this pedal in a loop or in the front of a clean amp with OD/Distortion before the Ventris, that gives the most control over the range because Reverb before distortion tends to make it almost hard to dial it down low enough and I wind up spending too much time tweaking the smallest min on the mix. I've had the following Reverbs: Boss RV-500, Neunabor Immerse, Strymon Flint, Strymon Big Sky, I still own the Flint but have sold all of the others. The Spring mode is just awesome and truly sounds like a real spring Verb, the rooms go from small to large on up to Hall and enormous dome, it's just over the top. The plate is as good as the best real plates that I can recall. There is no Reverb that I have owned that can match the Ventris, it is without a doubt the best I've owned and would put it up against any Lexicon or Bricasti any day, it's that good. The video link was. It really my intent to do a Ventris Demo but it'll give you a decent example of at least a couple modes, I think first Hall and a couple different Room settings.

BigSky Killer

Source Audio's studio quality reverb engines are worth the price of admission alone. If you do some research on the R&D for this pedal you'll come across a "who's who" of the guitar effects technology and engineering world. Source Audio really did their homework and went after some seriously talented engineers to help design these reverb engines.

As if the sound quality wasn't enough, this monster has two DSPs so you can blend two different reverbs together if you so choose.

The icing on the cake is how easy it is to use this pedal and save presets.

I use mine with my Boss ES-8 and use midi to switch between my saved reverb presets on the Ventris - it's amazing.

The Ventris is simply the best multi-reverb out there. The BigSky has been dethroned.

Paired with nemesis it does everything and mote

I use it midi thru with nemesis into my es-8 , it is very powerful. If your gigging and you need a lot of variety and control over your delay/verb this is probably the best combo

Fantastic Multi Reverb Pedal

I did the research and contemplated like many others over the many awesome multi reverb choices out there today(big sky, blue sky, RV 500, HOF X4, empress, etc..) I finally settled on the giving the the Ventris a shot after hearing some of the amazing samples out there. Let me tell you, I have NO regrets. The algorithms on this unit are better than anything I have ever heard. I also love the the ability to manipulate the sounds easily on the fly with the knobs on the unit but also having the choice to do some deep editing through the software/app.

I probably have honestly only utalized 30-40% of this units capabilities being that I haven't even experimented with the dual reverb options. It is the type of reverb that you will get lost in and inspire you to play. Which is the most import thing in my honest opinion. The smaller footprint on the pedalboard compared to the other mentioned until is an added bonus. It is also dead quiet in the loop. I am definitely looking into other source audio products.

I just want to give a special shout out to my awesome sales rep Mark Johnson that has taken care of me for years!
