Excellent protection / no storage

I bought this for my Gretsch 6120. I initially bought the electric semi-hollow version but, no surprise, the fit was way too snug. Shout out to Joe Secu for getting the order(s) to me in great time and for making the exchange for this model as seamless as possible.

I went with Mono because I have one for my pedalboard and it is a beautiful blend of comfort and protection.

As far as fit, it's about 3/8" too deep, which I can more than live with. Can't feel the guitar sloshing around at all.

The overall design and build are a perfect combination of comfortable portability and protection. So very well built.

My only beef is not a unique one with Mono - not near enough storage. In the top pouch, it's a very snug fit just getting a set of strings, a winder and a side cutter in there. I have padded leather strap and forget putting that in the front pouch. I have to roll it up just right and put it in with the guitar (which does provide a level of snugness, I must admit). I don't know why they do this - a gig bag is not something I'm going to cram in between other cases for a bumpy ride...

Still, I love the protection and comfort and may well buy another Mono down the line.

Mono .... Simply Worth It!

I have another guitar, my first OM, Alverez Yaʻiri FYM66 HD 50 yr. Old Hondurian Mahagony, solid guitar Great guitar... I didnʻt like my Om / classical suze Reunion Blues Contenetial gig bag.... too short always lay it down to unzip it... I like to leave my TC electronic clip on tuner on the top of the head, and missed the "Standing ability the vertigo offers, along with the excellent protection it affords.
Josh Kattner helped me select this mono acoustic vertigo! , It gives me everyrhing I could ask for, lightweight, simply all I need, the absolute best, and safe for my new baby!

Love these bags

I now have two of these bags: one for electric and now one for my concert sized acoustic. It's sized for a dreadnought, but the concert size fits nicely in it as well. What I love about these is the top loading and the fact that it has neck brace inside. The bag is rigid and doesn't flop around like other gig bags and so it offers more protection and support. I use it mainly for going to/from my lessons since the backpack type straps make it much easier to carry than the hard case that came with the guitar. It's pricey, but in this case you get what you pay for (no pun intended).

I already own the Mono dual acoustic-electric gig bag so the choice was easy when it came time to retire my 15+ year-old bag that had served me so well. The design and quality of Mono bags is worth every penny. The rigid sides, built-in neck support and "tire-tread" base set this bag apart from the competition. Plenty of storage with handy compartments for all my gear. This bag will easily outlast my old one.
