I am Amazed....

I use these at the church that I play with, they are on the house drum set but I wanted these for my own space and it's not treated, it's a very reverberant room with terrible acoustics so I hear every single bit of those nasty overtones. I know a lot of the drum sound has to do with the room because you can take a tuned drum set and put it in another room and if the room acoustics are bad then the drum kit would sound terrible. this is why studios don't like it when you want to bring your own drum set in because they have it set up for the room. with that said I was very skeptical about these because I've tried so many different muffling systems just to tame that overtone a little bit but not completely destroy it. they work just fine at the church but here in this little room with crappy acoustics I have to admit they sound absolutely amazing and for the price? can't beat them. this is by far the best overtone control system I have ever used and it's one of those rare cases where it just happens to be cheap as well. Evans you make some amazing products and this is yet another one. I recommend them 100%. they don't choke the drum but they do tame a lot of the nasty overtone. exactly what they're described to do and they work amazing. plus if you bend one or break one that's not going to break your heart or your bank.

The best thing out there

These are perfect. They offer just the right amount of muffling, without killing the fundamental tone. They also cover the "rim" of the head, offering an even amount of muffling. Plus they're not sticky gels, which is dope cuz you can take these off and put them on whenever you want, without that nasty gel residue. Definitely the best, go E-Rings!

These are amazing if you're trying to get rid of the nasty overtone of your toms or snare! Pick you up a pair of these!!! I mean come on, it's only $

KILLER

I am a recording engineer in Nashville, TN. In the mix, this dramatically helps the unwanted overtones in toms. I put it on a snare drum one time as well, and it made it very beefy. I highly recommend this for beginners or professionals that need a little more control over their drum tones.
