Another entry in the Shark series, the main feature that differentiates the MK-SD from the MK-SS is that the MK-SD uses a Kauri Top as opposed to the MK-SS’s agathist.
Apart from that, there really isn’t a substantial difference.
The MK-SD still has brass frets, geared tuners, and ships with a nylon carrying case.
