Lush ’80s-style Chorus Pedal

If you’re a fan of that rich ’80s clean tone, the TC Electronic 3rd Dimension Chorus is a must-have for your pedalboard. The 3rd Dimension pedal adds a gorgeous, lush, “motionless” chorus effect to your tone that will enhance your performance in myriad ways. And the designers at TC Electronic made sure this pedal responds to your unique playing style and dynamics. The 3rd Dimension obliges when you dig in or when you lay back. And you will be blown away — as we are here at Sweetwater — by its knob-free design. That's right: this beauty features zero knobs. Instead, the 3rd Dimension was designed with four preset buttons that move your tone along a range, spanning just a kiss of chorus to a full-on waterfall! With this quartet of buttons, you can conjure up to 16 different presets through combining each button in whatever ways fit your style for particular songs. So grab the 3rd Dimension Chorus and go to new places in your sonic adventures!

Awesome pedal

Originally I was looking to get a Boss Dimension-C. Then I came across this much cheaper alternative. After watching some comparison videos on YouTube I decided to save over $ and get this and I couldn't be happier. On the clean channel it sounds amazing but IMO I'm not to crazy about how it sounds on the crunch channel. I can't recommend this pedal enough.

From Just Like Heaven to Come AS You Are

Wonderful construction, great analog chorus sounds. Just what I wanted. A simple pedal I can just set up quickly and GO! Easy to get useful tones in seconds!

3D Chorus rocks!!

Love this pedal! 16 presets to choose from. I landed on 3 different settings and it's easier to remember than turning knobs all day. And it's cheaper than the Boss counterpart.

Nothing short of amazing!

I am 62 years old and my first chorus was the Ibanez bi-mode chorus. I still have it and was using it recently, but it was still not giving me the chorus I desired. I was using the TC Electronics Chorus+ pedal until the on-off switch wasn't working anymore. I heard a clip of this chorus pedal, and because of the cost being inexpensive, I thought I would take a shot at it. OMG! This is the sound I've been searching for since the 80's. It has four push buttons and you can combine them, according to the owner's manual, 16 different ways. I promise you, you will find a combination that suits what you're looking for in chorus. My favorite is the first two pushed down and the last two up. All four pushed down is the most luscious chorus sound you've ever heard. Bucket Brigade quality. I could Weld and glue it to my pedal board and use it for the rest of my life.
Music background: Rock bands and classic rock cover bands my entire life.
