The Alesis V61 is commonly complained about due to problems with the velocity sensitivity of the keys. On reviewer who thought highly of it said the problem was fixed by downloading software from Alesis and altering the velocity settings, however many other reviewers said the velocity was inconsistent between keys.
Although at the time of writing this was still being sold by many prominent stores, Alesis have stopped manufacturing it.
Unless you get one very cheap, we suggest you buy something else.
