Words like 'amazing', 'impressive' and 'great' are often dropped in customer reviews when owners are describing their Analog Rytm. It exceeded the expectations of many users and experts alike, many of them specifically pointing to the unit's solid build and high quality sound as its greatest features. The unit's versatility and customizability were also appreciated by the majority of users. Dan 'JD73' Goldman gave it 4.5 stars in his Music Radar review stating, "The RYTM is a powerful and accomplished drum machine that will keep most folks inspired for years. It's deep and sounds superb and we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take beat making out of the computer."
Experts note that getting a handle of the controls will take some patience and time, and that it will take some tinkering with the parameters to better appreciate what it can actually do. There was one who found the MIDI capability to be lacking, specifically when using the Analog Rytm alongside other gear.
This is a powerful yet compact beat production machine that experienced musicians will definitely appreciate. We used to recommend it in our guide to Drum Machines, however it has now been superseded by a newer model.
